Part of the Integral Group, Elementa Consulting's Oxford office is seeking a mechanically biased Associate Principal to join their management team. You will already be a chartered engineer or working towards your CEng with a minimum of 10 years experience.
Technical Ability & Qualifications
Has direct responsibility for ensuring that design and technical excellence is valued and integrated into all projects under his/her influence.
Provides a stimulating and optimal work environment that promotes creative, high calibre design and technical solutions.
Motivates project teams toward high performance.
Holds a managerial position or manages a particular area of expertise that affects an office or market sector’s ability to execute its services on behalf of the firm.
Assumes fiduciary responsibility for a segment of the practice: negotiates fees, executes contracts and leads teams to meet the business objectives of the practice.
Reviews firm financials on a monthly basis and seeks opportunities to improve or exceed future results.Is accountable for achieving profit for the firm.
Directs the productivity and financial performance of a team.
Participates in strategic planning initiatives and provides valuable input to Principals to affect positive change.
Actively promotes the firm and its design and technical excellence by example and by vocal support of the firm, its projects and people.
Mentors and helps others to develop marketing skills.
Consistently meets client satisfaction goals.
Plays role in development of new clients and maintains relationships with long-term clients.
Leadership & Personal Qualities
Practices collaboration via exchange of professional practices, ideas, and methods on a firm-wide basis.
Ensures clients benefit from the universal expertise of the firm-at-large. Manages large, complex or multiple projects and consistently demonstrates leadership with teams and clients.
Mentors others in support of the shared values of the firm.
Is recognised as a leader who helps unite individuals to create a successful harmonious practice.
Minimum of ten + years post graduation experience
Minimum HNC/HND Qualified
Educated to degree standard
Effective team member
Construction process aware

We offer a competitive remuneration package with a salary range of between £55,000 and £65,000 per annum, as well as excellent benefits, training, development, and an upbeat work environment.
