Terms: Permanent, Full-time position

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (negotiable based on experience)

Integral Group’s Vancouver office is growing and needs your help!  The Mechanical Project Manager forms a viable part of the Integral Group management team and is responsible for managing their respective Project Design Team.  This individual has specific building services design experience in HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems for high-rise residential, commercial and institutional buildings. They are fully responsible and accountable for their design team staff, regularly review staffing and distribute tasks effectively and consistently with staff skill sets.  By providing technical support and management resources essential to Integral Group, the Mechanical Project Manager ensures that design decision-making and team management accountability take place.


  • Works with the Integral’s Management Team to control and coordinate business development, sales/marketing, team targets, team personnel, technical design and related activities
  • Develops, establishes, and administers procedures and systems pertaining to team management matters
  • Prepares workload, sales forecasts and team resources/schedule for administrative and managerial functions
  • Serves as the principle liaison with selected clients or major projects
  • Upholds and maintains Integral Group design standards. Responsible for engineering, specifications, documentation, standardization, quality assurance, cost and value analysis and the broader aspects of Division 15 mechanical building services (plus role of Managing Consultant as required).


  • 6+ years of specific HVAC, plumbing and fire protection building design experience
  • Minimum 5 years project management experience in consulting engineering
  • Superior interpersonal skills with clients and staff
  • Communication and Coaching skills
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Professional Engineer (CEng, PEng or equivalent), Applied Science Technologist (AScT) designation, or eligibility to apply
  • LEED Accreditation an asset
  • Fluent in English (written & verbal)
